About Me

Hi, I'm Louis 👋

I'm a Commack local and a lifeguard certified by the American Red Cross. Summers are when I get to do what I genuinely love, which is keeping families safe around the water. I'm also an honors student at Binghamton University, so you can count on me to show up reliable, punctual, and great with kids of all ages.

I'm trained in Lifeguarding and Deep Water rescue, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, and First Aid, and I always bring my own gear: a rescue tube, a first-aid kit, a CPR breathing barrier, and a whistle, so I can act fast if it ever matters. What areas do you cover?+

All of Long Island. I'm based in Commack, so Suffolk County is my home turf with a 2-hour minimum. Anywhere outside Suffolk (Nassau and beyond) has a 2.5-hour minimum for the extra travel. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.

How much do you charge?+

$50/hour. In Suffolk County there's a 2-hour minimum ($100). Outside Suffolk, on the rest of Long Island, there's a 2.5-hour minimum ($125) to cover the extra travel.

What ages can you watch?+

All ages. I set simple water-safety rules at the start and keep constant eyes on the pool the whole time.

What do I need to provide?+

Just pool access and a spot to sit with a clear view of the water. I bring my whistle and basic rescue gear.

How far ahead should I book?+

As early as you can for summer weekends, since they fill fast. Same-week is sometimes available.

Do you cover Nassau County and the rest of Long Island?+

Yes. I'm based in Commack in Suffolk County, and I also travel to Nassau County and the rest of Long Island. There's a 2.5-hour minimum outside Suffolk to cover the extra travel.
